I composed Scotland My Soul driving on my way back from friends in Inveraray to London.
I wrote it about the love I have for my country and no matter where in the world I may be, I am proud to be Scottish. The song is not meant as a political message; it's a positive comment about the land of my birth. "Scotland I am your brave one...You are my soul."
